POMPEII RECONSTRUCTED

‘Ashes were already falling, not as yet very thickly. I looked round: a dense black cloud was coming up behind us, spreading over the earth like a flood.’ Thus, in a letter to Tacitus, Pliny the Younger describes the devastating eruption that struck Pompeii in 79 AD and that marked its history forever.
Pompeii Reconstructed shows the monuments and recalls the scenarios of ancient Pompeii as it would have appeared before the eruption of Vesuvius: the sumptuous villas, the great theatre, the Stabian Baths and much more. Thanks to our paper technique with die-cut cards, the guide reconstructs the ancient city in its seven archaeological areas and contains some in-depth sheets about the most interesting sites, including those opened after the restoration of 2016-17. With QR codes you can watch video clips of virtual reconstructions and stream (on PC, smart phone and tablet) an online documentary about Pompeii and the eruption of Vesuvius.
